"Jambo! My name is Christine. I am a native Swahili speaker from Kenya, currently living here in Riyadh. I love meeting new people and sharing my culture!
If you are a foreigner looking to learn Swahili for travel, work, or just as a fun hobby, I am here to help. My sessions are relaxed and focused on real-life conversation—no boring textbooks! We can chat about daily life, Kenyan traditions, or even practice some English together I offer 100% online lessons via Zoom, Google Meet, or WhatsApp Video. You can learn Swahili from the comfort of your own home, I’ll make sure you feel confident and have fun while learning. Let’s start talking!"
"Not at all! Swahili is actually one of the most beginner-friendly languages because it is completely phonetic—you say it exactly as it’s written. For those living in Riyadh, it’s even easier because Swahili shares many loanwords with Arabic (like 'Rafiki' for friend and 'Saa' for time). Since we are in the same time zone as Kenya, practicing together is very convenient!"
"It depends on your goal, but you can see progress quickly:
1 Month: You will master greetings and basic survival phrases.
3 Months: You will be able to have simple, functional conversations (ordering food, shopping, or introducing yourself).
6 to 12 Months: With regular 1-on-1 chatting, you can reach conversational fluency where you feel comfortable talking about your daily life and opinions."
