Hi! Mambo!
I am a native Swahili speaker from Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, and a professional Swahili language teacher certified by BAKITA (the National Swahili Council of Tanzania).
I teach Swahili to foreigners, volunteers, and travelers who want to communicate with confidence. Swahili is one of the easiest languages to learn because it is pronounced as it is written, has no grammatical gender, and follows simple, logical grammar rules.
The best way to learn Swahili is through conversation. In my lessons, we skip boring grammar drills and focus on speaking and listening through real-life conversations. You'll learn practical vocabulary for daily life, work, travel, Tanzanian culture, greetings, and much more.
My teaching style is friendly, patient, and practical. Whether you are a complete beginner or want to improve your fluency, I will create personalized lessons tailored to your goals.
How long it takes to learn Swahili depends on your goals, how often you practice, and whether you learn with a teacher. I offer both online and in-person lessons.
Karibu! Let's start speaking Swahili together!
