Professional EFL Teacher and Spanish Native Tutor

🌸My name is Javiera, and I am an English teacher and Spanish tutor (native). I currently live in Santiago, but I'm from the north of Chile. I have a Master's in Education and a Bachelor's in Education and EFL Teaching. I am fluent in English so I can teach English speakers🌸

✨A bit about me:
• I love music, movies (especially horror!), series, anime, among many other things.
• I have done private English lessons since I started studying for my bachelor's degree, and I've started to work as a Spanish tutor recently.
• I am currently learning Japanese

• Bachelor's in Education and EFL Teacher - Universidad de Atacama, Chile (2016-2021).
• Master's in Education, Curriculum and Educational Community - Universidad de Chile, Chile (2021-2023).
• Impeccable academic record of excellence. Graduated with highest honors.

✒️ Experience:
• Teaching English: to all levels and ages, from children to adults, and from basic to advanced levels.
• Teaching Spanish: Adults. From Beginner to Advanced.
• In addition, I have experience as a teaching assistant and researcher since 2018, currently I do some freelance research and translation of academic texts.

👩🏻‍🏫 As a teacher:
I am passionate about learning constantly and also learning from others. I have always believed that learning should be fun, in a space of trust where you feel comfortable and can express your doubts. I like to adapt to the learner's needs, and at the same time propose challenges to reach their maximum potential. If you are nervous about speaking for the first time, don't worry, I understand, we all go through that! and it will never be a reason for criticism. I am an open-minded person, and I like to be empathetic and understanding. There is no room for discrimination of any kind in my lessons.
