Learn Spanish with a Native Speaker

Hi! I’m a native Spanish speaker from Spain currently living in Dublin, where I work as a Spanish Language Assistant in a secondary school.

I have a Bachelor degree in English Studies and a Master’s Degree in Education. I also have experience teaching and supporting students of different ages, both in Spain and abroad.

My lessons are friendly, relaxed and adapted to each student’s level and goals. Whether you are a complete beginner, want to improve your conversation skills, need help with grammar or simply want to feel more confident speaking Spanish, I can help you.

Is Spanish difficult to learn? It can seem difficult at first, but with the right approach, it can be much easier and more enjoyable than you think! The best way to learn Spanish is to practise regularly, especially by listening and speaking from the beginning. You don’t need to be perfect before you start speaking.

How long does it take to learn Spanish? It depends on your starting level, goals and how often you practise. Even a little regular practice can make a big difference. My aim is to make Spanish practical, useful and enjoyable, while helping you progress at your own pace.

I’d love to help you enjoy learning Spanish and feel more confident using it in real-life situations!

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Spanish easy to learn?

Spanish can be quite easy to learn, especially for English speakers. Spanish pronunciation is relatively simple and many Spanish words are similar to English. Like any language, it takes time and regular practice, but you can start having simple conversations quite quickly. With the right guidance and a bit of practice, learning Spanish can be fun and rewarding!

How much time does it take to learn Spanish in Dublin?

There is no exact answer, as it depends on your starting level, your goals and how often you practise. With regular lessons and practice outside the classroom, you can start having simple conversations in Spanish within a few months.

Living in Dublin can also be a great opportunity to practise Spanish, as there is a large Spanish-speaking community and many opportunities to use the language outside of lessons. The most important thing is to practise regularly and not be afraid of making mistakes!
