Hi! My name is Mauricio, I am born and raised in Norway but my parents are German-Chilean (hence my name). Norwegian is my mother tongue and I have previously tutored Norwegian in Hong Kong from Levels A1 to B2 (I can tutor up to level C2. Norwegian is actually not so hard to learn as it closely resembles other Germanic Languages, knowledge of English beforehand is a plus. I emphasize a lot being an efficient teacher and making sure to continuously test the student in regards to pronunciation and grammar. This is great for anyone interested in Norway or Norwegian culture or is seeking to visit or relocate to Norway in the future. Feel free to ask e any questions :)

Is it difficult to learn Norwegian in Hong Kong?
Due to it being closely resembled to the Germanic, it would be quite easy especially if you have a good basis in English. My method of tutoring is quite efficient and I focus a lot on mirroring my teaching method based on what the student knows best.
How much time does it take to learn Norwegian in Hong Kong?
For levels A1 I would say around 25-40 hours depending on the student, for more advanced modules this depends a lot on the students progression from the initial modulo
