Private Latvian Tutor in Riga and Online
Conversational Latvian (A2-B2)
I am a native Latvian speaker. I can use English or Spanish as the base teaching language. I think learning a language should be a fun and immersive experience. Ideally, we would use the structure of Laipa, the official Latvian book, but deviate quite a lot in the examples to make things more fun.
I prefer to start from A2, but if you are not there yet, that is totally fine and we can start from "hello" :) I only have experience in teaching adults, so I would prefer to stick to that.
We can do a mix of in-person classes and online - whatever you prefer.

Take a class to learn the basics and get an idea of what the grammar is. Then talk to people, read ads, store signs, anything that you can read as you walk around the city.
How much time does it take to learn Latvian in Riga?
It depends on you. Anywhere from 4 months to a few years. It just depends on how much time you spend learning.
