Hello~! I have taught Korean to various KSL/KFL learners since 2006. I was born in Seoul and studied Biology(Ewha) and Philosophy of Science(Seoul Nat'l) in Korea, and expanded my interests to Language Education(Indiana at Bloomington) in 2003 while I was in the USA. After getting MA in English Language Education, I realized that I need to be more knowledgeable in Korean too, especially after coming to Singapore. Singaporeans are soooo talented in language learning!!! 🤩 I took serious actions to learn more about Korean language and Korean language education and obtained another MA degree(Kyung Hee Global Korean) to be a better teacher! 😉
Language learning is not only memorizing words and phrases but also understanding cultural backgrounds and structure of thoughts. I think that my education and experience will be beneficial to our learning journey. So please feel free to contact me.

What is the easiest way to learn Korean in Singapore?
We all know that we should consider two factors to learn something new. Time and Effort.
Korean proficiency is proportional to the sum of the two. We should invest either time or effort. Which one is more comfortable for you to make? Which way will be easier for you?
1. You should study Korean really hard for a certain period of time.
2. You are going to make a little bit of time every day for studying.
I hope you can use whichever method works for you. In the long run, we, together, could find our own ways to keep learning. In that way, you can have not only fun and excitement but also pride and reward.
How much time does it take to learn Korean in Singapore?
My lessons will be based on the international standard curriculum for Korean language(published by National Institute of Korean Language (South Korea in 2020). It consists of 6 levels, which are designed to take 70-100 hours. However, because my lessons will be customized for each student, this time can be shortened.
