Hello!
My name is Christopher Oh and I'm currently working as a translator and an instructor for middle school students in Korea.
As I am a native Korean who have been studying English on my own,
I completely understand how frustrating it is to learn new languages.
But, don't you worry.
Here I am to help you to build a good relationship with Korean in an organic way. :)
I'm a native Korean speaker living in Korea for 27 years. With 14 years of experience in learning English, I can provide you with various organic studying methodologies that are practical and usable in our actual daily life situations.
No matter what level you are in, or what level you want to reach, I can hold your hand through that destination.
If you are at a very beginner level, so that you are not familiar with basic Hangul (한글), I can help you with that.
Or if your goal is to polish your pronunciation, accent, grammar skills, and etc., for business purposes, I can help you with proper and formal approaches that you can take on.
Besides, if you are an investor, stakeholder of business, or somewhat related to finance in Korea, congrats, because you have found the best Korean teacher today. I have in total 5 following qualifications and certificates related to finance, accounting, and business. If you wish to learn correct Korean terminologies or expressions related to the above-mentioned subjects, I can gladly help you with that.
Qualifications and Certificates
- Bachelor of International Regional Studies
- Certified Investment Manager
- Certified Accounting Manager
- Certified Credit Analyst
- Computerized Accounting Qualification Advanced Level
- TESAT, Test of Economic Sense And Thinking (S class)
- OPIc (Advanced Low)
- TOEIC (965)
IMO, Seoul is the best place to learn and practice Korean.
Since there are lots of opportunities to approach in various situations, I think Seoul is the best place for you to practice daily conversation skills.
Say if you have a will to practice on a daily basis, ideally, 6 to 12 months are enough for you to do basic conversation (level of A2 - B1)
If you wish to broaden your communication skills further, that depends on your dedication, time, and efforts.
I think 2 to 3 more years would be enough for you to reach the level of B2 - C1.
