Hi there! I'm Sue, and I'm here to help you learn Korean and dive into Korean culture in a relaxed way.
I have experience teaching both English in Korea and Korean in other countries, so I totally understand the challenges of learning a new language. But rather than a formal 'teacher-student' setup, I'm looking to build a friendly connection where we can chat comfortably and maybe even hang out to explore the city.
I'm a big fan of music, sports, food, and beauty, and since I've lived abroad before, communicating in English won't be a problem!
Thank you so much for your interest in Korea! If you want to study together or just have some questions, feel free to reach out. Let's be friends :> 📱@sszyxe
Aaa it's true that the grammar can be tricky for foreigners at first, but Hangul (the alphabet) is actually super easy and logical! Plus, Seoul is the best place to learn because you can practice 24/7.
It really depends on your goal you know, but here’s a rough timeline:
• A week: Mastering Hangul (the alphabet)
• 1-2 months: Survival Korean (Ordering food, shopping, and introducing yourself)
• 3-6 months: Holding basic conversations about your daily life
• 1-2 years: Reaching an intermediate level where you can chat about your daily life and watch K-dramas with less help from subtitles
