Hello! I am a native Japanese teacher from Kobe, Japan, with 5 years of teaching experience. I have completed a 420-hour Japanese Language Teacher Training Course in Japan. I teach students from complete beginners to upper-intermediate learners.

My lessons focus on practical Japanese that you can actually use. Whether you want to speak Japanese in daily life, travel in Japan, understand Japanese culture, improve your conversation skills, or prepare for an exam, I can adapt lessons to your level and goals.

I also teach students preparing for the JLPT, the Japanese-Language Proficiency Test. The JLPT is an official test used to measure Japanese language ability. N5 is the beginner level, while N1 is the highest level. I currently support learners from N5 to N2.

My lessons are not only about memorizing grammar and vocabulary. I want you to actively use Japanese. We follow a simple cycle: speak, receive feedback, improve your Japanese, and speak again. I explain grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and natural expressions clearly. I also explain differences between textbook Japanese and expressions commonly used by native speakers.

Lessons can include conversation, grammar, reading, listening, pronunciation, vocabulary, and practical situations. I use teaching materials and presentation slides to make difficult points easier to understand. You will have opportunities to think, speak, ask questions, and use what you have learned.

Is Japanese easy or difficult to learn? It depends on your goals and your first language. Japanese has grammar and writing systems that may be unfamiliar to many learners, so some parts can be challenging. However, you do not need to learn everything at once. Learning step by step and practicing regularly makes Japanese much more manageable.

What is the easiest way to learn Japanese? A good approach is to combine regular study with active use. Learning useful vocabulary and grammar, listening to Japanese, and speaking regularly can help you build practical communication skills.

How long does it take to learn Japanese? There is no single answer. It depends on how often you study, your previous language-learning experience, your goals, and the level you want to reach. You can start using simple Japanese relatively early, while higher-level Japanese requires continued practice.
