I’m Kotaro, originally from a city called Yokohama :)
Having grown up in Japan, I have got a Master's Degree in Design from the UK. Having lived in Singapore prior to Hong Kong, I am pretty fluent in both Japanese and English.
I have a got diverse teaching experience;
- 2 years of teaching elementary school kids
- 1 year of teaching design to undergrad uni students
My motto is to gain confidence through practice and trials. Let’s do it together.
Things to note;
- Learning Japanese is not easy at first due to amount of characters but repetitions make it work for you
- All levels of skills are welcomed

Is Japanese easy to learn?
No languages are easy to acquire. But as long as we are dedicated to learning, it will pave our ways.
Is it difficult to learn Japanese in Hong Kong?
Having a right exposure to Japanese language as well as culture is the key. The language exposure is one thing we will tackle together. Luckily the latter part of it is seen anywhere in HK.
