はじめまして。I'm Sayaka (my students usually call me Tina) , a native tutor from Japan since 2017.. 8 years now!! I have wide experience in teaching different ages, for different purposes like business or interest or exams, online or face to face, and 1 on 1 lessons or group lessons.

Is it difficult to learn Japanese in Ho Chi Minh City?

It is difficult if you cannot find a native who can speak English, share with you the culture to make lessons interesting, but here I am :)

How much time does it take to learn Japanese in Ho Chi Minh City?

Half a year to master hiragana/katakana/simple kanji, a year to read simple articles, 2 years to converse in simple sentences. It could be faster if you have the chance to communicate with native!

She always try to teach more things to make students understood. She also check all of details when you speak and write Japanese. Anybody would be satisfied if you choose her to study Japanese :)

It was always easy and comfortable to speak with you, and I really appreciated the way you helped me when I had difficulties. I stopped the lessons because my work schedule did not allow me to be regular enough, not because of the lessons themselves. I truly enjoyed learning Japanese. If my schedule becomes more stable in the future, I would not hesitate to start lessons with you again.

It's not easy finding a tutor who explains things clearly, knows how to troubleshoot problems well and solve them effectively (specific to each student), is knowledgeable, understanding, practical, patient and accommodating. Tina is everything mentioned above, and a great person too. Highly recommended tutor! (Have been doing a 3-person group class with her and it's been going very well so far)

I have been studying Japanese under Tina for slightly more than 1.5years and I really enjoyed my classes. She explains the grammer very well and helps me to differentiate the nuances between similar ones. Besides grammer, we also alternate between reading and listening which makes the classes a lot more interesting and challenging. I was able to learn so much more (and much faster) as compared to going for group classes. I would highly recommend Tina to anyone who is looking to learn or improve their Japanese. =)

Tina is a more than proficient tutor of the Japanese language As a native, She is able to explain the nuances of the usage of the language like which synonyms are more commonly used nowadays. I would recommend her to a serious learner of the language taught in English

Very friendly and knowledgeable tutor. Tina sensei knows alot about the latest trends and culture among the youngsters in Japan. Furthermore, it is so easy to reach out to her if you have any problems regarding Japanese outside lessons. For someone who is a native Japanese, to equip with a good mastery with both Japanese and English that can make lessons so easy to understand, couldn't ask for more. Lesson scheduling with her is also very flexible, she is not so strict with the timings and always try her best to accommodate.

Tina is a very friendly and effective tutor who teaches in the way that works best for the student. Lessons are very interesting and my understanding has improved a lot since learning from her.
