I am currently attending a Master's degree in Finance at ESSEC Business School in Singapore. I have previous experience in teaching languages, both in Cambodia and Tanzania, where I had the opportunity to teach students ranging from 12-13 years old to adults.

Methods of teaching vary clearly depending on the age range of the students, but I always attempt to reach active and conscious learning from my students. This is possible thanks to a well-balanced mix of grammar and vocabulary focus as well as practical exercises that make students internalize effectively what they have learned.
This approach is particularly crucial for the Latin language like Italian, as the grammatical structure of sentences must be learned upfront as if it was a science. Then comes the practice which allows us to assimilate and understand real-life applications of terms and specific vocabulary.

Learning Italian is useful to interact with the vibrant Italian community in Singapore and worldwide and can have also important implications if joining sectors where the Italian presence is predominant.
