I enjoy sharing my passion for Bahasa Indonesia through teaching.
I have been teaching Indonesian as a foreign language to learners at different age groups and levels of proficiency, from elementary to advanced, and conducted classes for general purposes, examinations and corporate trainings. I've taught learners from the age of 9 to over 60 years old.
I believe that language education should focus on individual differences, and strives to plan lessons that cater to the diversity of my learners.

Camilla is a fine teacher of Bahasa Indonesia. She is very friendly and patient and makes the lessons very interactive for her students. I had the pleasure of taking 7-8 lessons with her along with my wife and we both thoroughly enjoyed the learning experience. The learning exercises and lessons which she prepares is very targeted towards your learning speed and helps you develop confidence in conversational Bahasa Indonesia. I have been learning Indonesian with Camilla since February 2020. My Bahasa proficiency and understanding of the Indonesian culture has improved drastically since then!! She has helped me work towards my goal of being fluent in conversational Bahasa by focusing on content that is extremely applicable and relevant in our daily lives (such as food, films, etc). The materials provided in class are personalised and concise. We have progress tests regularly too, which have been very helpful in checking in on my knowledge. Even via online classes, she has managed to make lessons engaging and interesting. I couldn’t recommend her more!!
I have been tutored by Camilla since September 2019 and she has been really great. Not only is she a great teacher she also very flexible around things like scheduling and days where we might not be able to go. She's really helped me with my Indonesian skills.
She’s really precise in correcting our grammar/pronunciation, while giving us room to open ask questions whenever we have them.
Camilla's lessons are very interactive and allow us a lot of opportunities to clear our doubts. She is very helpful and able to explain things in ways that are easy to understand.

Camilla has been my Bahasa Indonesia tutor for the past 14 months. We have two classes of 1.5 hour every other week, on Skype since April last year. She has a positive attitude, the classes and tests are always well prepared, and she is able to adapt her teaching and focus to what I need. I haven’t had the opportunity to practice my speaking much outside of the classes since we started, as we cannot travel anymore, but I am confident that I would now be able to get around in Indonesia without speaking English. I highly and warmly recommend Camilla as a tutor to learn Bahasa Indonesia.
