My name is Robert. With more than 9 years of experience teaching Bahasa Indonesia to over 120 Primary-JC students, as well as working professionals, CEOs and business owners from 25+ countries across Europe, Asia, America and Australia, I specialize in helping diverse learners achieve their language goals. Additionally, I am proficient in both MOELC Third Language curriculum and International Baccalaureate (IB) Language ab initio curriculum.

Robert is a great Bahasa tutor, very patient, adaptable to one's learning needs as well as understanding and passionate about the language! Classes over zoom worked well and were no problem at all, and he knows a lot about Bahasa and the culture and history of Indonesia. Classes were also very enjoyable and I learnt a lot. Robert is extremely knowledgable, amicable and approachable. It was very easy to ask him all my queries, and his explanations are always extremely detailed. He has an incredible grasp of content and language. Learning online was also seamless. It is clear that he is well-equipped and knowledgable in technology; and it made learning via online very very easy. Might actually prefer it to in-person.

I'm what you could call a difficult student. I interrupt, ask a thousand questions, change the programme. But Robert was patient, friendly, and a joy to learn with! Because of circuit breaker we had to do our sessions remotely, and it was super smooth. Robert was never particular if the classes were overrunning, or to correct the homework outside of our time together. Terimah Kasih Robert!

Robert is a fanatastic Bahasa tutor. He is very adaptive and is able to change the pace of the lesson according to your needs. He is patient and very thorough. It seems as if he has developed his own curriculum which he is able to adjust to each student. I would highly encourage anyone who is looking to learn Bahasa to go with Robert - it was a fantastic experience and I've only stopped as I will be moving out of Singapore. I worked with Robert for almost 3 months - I started as a beginner knowing nothing and now I feel fairly literate.

Robert is an excellent teacher. He has been teaching my husband and I the Indoesian language because of our business in Indonesia. He is thoughtful in his explanation of the language to, especially in explaining the structure of the grammar and sentence structure, which is a difficult thing to do. This really help us to understand and appreciate the language. He is also very flexible and accomodating to our busy schedules. He is patient and encouraging when we couldn't pick up as fast as he wants us to. We are lucky to have found him.
