I am a native speaker of Igbo language. Born and schooled in the Eastern part of Nigeria up to my first degree.
I taught Igbo language at St Theresa Secondary school Ikenanzizi Obowo in Imo State for 4years. I handled all the junior classes. I currently work as a part time Igbo language teacher for Excellent Light School in Lagos for the junior classes.
I am passionate about helping my students learn Igbo language to the extent they can comfortably converse with it.
Ability of my students to not just speak but confidently converse in Igbo language fluently in a multilingual environment is always my aim as it gives me fulfilment of a job well done.

Is it difficult to learn Igbo in Lagos?
No it's not if you are willing and open to learning. We start with the basics and correct pronunciation of the alphabets. It helps to boost learner's confidence.
How much time does it take to learn Igbo in Lagos?
It depends on individuals but on the average, with interactive sessions one should be at least intermediate within 6months of consistently learning and practicing it.
