I've been teaching languages for 15 years, and I offer personalised Hungarian lessons for foreigners, both in English and in French.

Learning Hungarian can sometimes feel like switching from an automatic car to a manual one — suddenly there are more gears, pedals, and moving parts than you're used to!

My goal is not simply to teach you which button to press. I'll help you to understand how the engine works, recognise the patterns, and gradually make the whole system feel natural.

I use a structured progress-tracking system to keep track of what you've learned, what needs more practice, and how you're progressing over time. Lessons combine practical communication with clear grammar explanations, vocabulary building, reading, and regularly reviewing what you've already learned.

I also use stories, associations, and memory tricks when they can help to make difficult grammar or vocabulary stick.

Whether you're a complete beginner, have taken a few classes, or you've already studied Hungarian for a while but feel that the pieces aren't quite fitting together yet, I'll adapt the lessons to you and your goals.

Classes take place in person in Budapest. Online classes can also be arranged.
