Certified German tutor for TestDaF Goethe and telc exams

Hello! My name is Sepideh, and I am a certified German tutor with an official TestDaF certificate. I have been teaching German to students of different levels, from complete beginners to advanced learners preparing for their exams.

My lessons are fully tailored to your goals: everyday conversation, grammar made simple, exam preparation for TestDaF, Goethe and telc, or German for work and daily life. I teach online via Zoom or Skype, so you can learn from anywhere in the world.

How easy is it to learn German? German looks difficult at first, but it is very first, but it is very logical. When grammar is explained step you progress faster than you expect. How much time does it take to learn German? With regular lessons two or three times a week, most students reach a solid conversational level (A2-B1) in about six months.

What is the easiest way to learn German? Speaking from day one. In my lessons you will talk, listen, read and write in every session, with friendly corrections and clear feedback. I also help students prepare for oral exams and visa interviews.

If you are looking for a patient, friendly and structured teacher, contact me here and let's start your German journey together!

Frequently Asked Questions

How easy is it to learn German in Berlin?

Berlin is one of the best cities in the world to learn German, because you hear the language everywhere: in shops, on public transport, and at every meeting. The German spoken in Berlin is clear and standard, which makes it perfect for learners. The city also offers many free opportunities to practice, from language meetups to museums and libraries. With regular lessons plus daily practice in the city, most students are surprised how quickly they start speaking. The challenge is motivation: many people in Berlin speak English, so you need someone who pushes you to speak German from day one - that is exactly what I do in my lessons.

Is German easy to learn?

German has a reputation for being difficult, but this is only partly true. The pronunciation is very consistent: once you learn the rules, you can read almost any word correctly. The grammar is logical and follows clear patterns, especially compared to English with its many exceptions. Words are often built from smaller blocks, so once you know the basics, you can guess the meaning of long words. For English speakers German is actually one of the easier languages. In my lessons I break grammar down into small, simple steps and focus on speaking from the first session, so instead of feeling difficult, German starts to feel logical and even fun.
