Learn French and its culture
I am French and currently a Film Student at King's College London.
In high school, I took many classes focusing on French Literature (but also the country's history and culture).
In addition, I was in a special programme meant to introduce us to foreign languages (which for us was English and Spanish) so I know a fair bit about the process of learning a new language.
I think that on top of learning the basics of French, it is equally important and fun to know about the music, the films and the literature. I believe that it really encourages one to be invested in learning this language.

Is French easy to learn?
It is very much rooted in the Latin language so it has similarities to Italian and Spanish. Thus, the structure, grammar and the vocabulary are fairly recognizable to those who already know these languages.
How much time does it take to learn French in City of London?
It all depends on the amount of work one is ready to put in. But since it is a very pleasant language, it should be quite exciting to learn.
