How easy is it to learn French in City of London?
Many of my dedicated students have gone from A1.1 to B2 with good conversation skills within a year time.
It's a mix of daily practice (listening to podcasts 10 to 15 minutes each day, reading articles, conversation for an hour daily) and self motivation as the only students who don't progress in the language are the ones who put a "mental blockage" to themselves with negative thinking.
Is French easy to learn?
Parlez, Parlez, Parlez !
If you know 10 words use them.
If you know 50 words use them !
French has no specific tones and is generally quite flat in its flow in comparison to many other more dynamic languages so yes it is easy to learn.
Of course there is generally a rule and then a long list of exceptions ... but do not worry about a thing !!
French people themselves hardly get it right with many of the grammar rules and exceptions !
