Practice your Finnish with a native speaker!

Hi my name is Henna and I'm 29 years old Finn living in Oulu. I don't have previous experience as a tutor but I'm even more excited if someone wants to learn my mother tongue and some fun things about the Finnish culture. I'm not a professional (language) teacher but I offer low-threshold practical help with speaking and writing.

As a language, Finnish is tricky so, the learning can be challenging at times and take some time. The best way to learn Finnish is the same as in any other language: practice, practice, practice. Read, listen and watch anything in Finnish and be brave to use it even if you've learned just the basics.
Learning Finnish at a good level can take a relatively long time but of course, some learn faster and some slower.
When the student handles even the basics of the language, it's very important to start practicing speaking and what's a better way to do it than with the help of a native speaker? I'm looking forward to hearing from you soon! :)
