"You become what you believe"

I am very honored to express my intent to apply as tutor. I obtained the degree of Bachelor of Science major in Psychology and a licensed Psychometrician in the Philippines. I am applying for a tutor to pursue my dream to teach students which is a field I would like to delve more in with relevance to my qualification in Psychology. I took up Psychology as a course because I have always hoped that my passion would lead me to a career involving helping to improve the lives of others but later on I have discovered my passion to be helping kids learn and be one of the first people to be able to contribute in shaping their futures.

Growing up in a small town in one of the Philippines’ provinces, I had always pictured going further and discovering a bigger world. I feel very passionate about encounters with different kinds of people and be able to learn to understand their actions, motivations and emotions. Hence, I decided to take up Psychology as my degree.

After graduating, I decided to take the board examination for Psychometricians. Such license is meant as a qualification to perform psychological testing in recruitment, clinical and educational settings.

Fortunately, all my hard work paid off months later when I passed the board exams and was hired to work as an Executive Assistant at a law firm. My work was mostly administrative in nature, providing support to senior and junior partners at the said firm. After that I decided to look for better opportunities to be able to save money, hence, worked as a Human Resources Assistant in one of the distribution companies in Manila, Philippines. Recently, I am working as an Administrative Aide in a government office. Despite my experience in administrative work, I still feel that I want to pursue the career I was first passionate about, which is teaching students.
