Hi , you can call me Jaz. I hold a bachelors degree in Elementary Education, after graduating I gained over 3 years of experience in BPO companies, that helped me to have good communication skills.
Motivated by my passion for language education, I transitioned to ESL teaching, both online and in person, for over two years. This allowed me to work with diverse students and tailor my teaching approach to meet their individual needs.
Addition to that, I spent three fulfilling years as a public school teacher in the Department of Education as an elementary teacher.
Learning another language such as Filipino /tagalog or Hiligaynon/Ilonggo is not as hard as you think. However, it's important to note that every individual's experience with language learning can vary. Factors such as your language background, exposure to Filipino speakers, and personal learning style can influence the ease or difficulty of learning Filipino.
In any case, with consistent practice, dedication, and a positive attitude, you can make significant progress in learning Filipino. Utilizing resources like textbooks, language courses, online resources, and engaging with native speakers will greatly enhance your learning experience.
While learning any language requires effort and dedication, being in a language-rich environment like Manila can provide advantages and opportunities for accelerated learning. However, it's important to note that the difficulty of learning Filipino ultimately depends on your individual learning style, prior language learning experience, and the amount of time and effort you invest in practicing and studying the language.
To achieve a higher level of fluency and proficiency in Filipino, it may take a couple of years or more of dedicated study and immersion. This involves expanding your vocabulary, improving your grammar, and honing your listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. Consistent exposure to the language through conversations, reading materials, and media can significantly contribute to your progress.
Remember that language learning is a continuous journey, and the amount of time required to reach a certain level of proficiency can vary from person to person. Consistency, patience, and regular practice are key to making progress in learning Filipino.
