When I was in 1st year of college one of the requirements in one of my subjects NSTP was to teach one of the barangays in my town. Together with my colleagues, we teach children to write, read, draw, sing, dance, and act. Now I'm in my 4th year in college I still teach my youngest nephew a 6th years old boy the same thing, and I’ve seen that his doing will. It was very easy to learn Filipino you just have to stay focused and enjoy the discussion. And only takes one before you completely learn some words of Pilipinos
