I've been teaching English Online for 3 years and achieved TESOL and TEYL Certificates in Teach International. Yes, Filipino is not a very difficult language to learn, but there will always be a learning curve when you're first starting out. Before you even begin, make sure that you first cultivate a commitment to learning.
Basic Tagalog is rather easy to learn compared to other languages. However, it is quite different from English. It takes some time to get used to the language.
