Kumusta! Ako si Maria Luz! I’m a licensed professional teacher from the Philippines with teaching experience in both high school and university settings.

I hold the degree for Bachelor of Secondary Education - Filipino and earned my Diploma in Language Education - Filipino at Philippine Normal University.
I am experienced in teaching Filipino language and literature to local students as well as to foreigns.

I’m passionate about making Filipino madali, masaya, at makabuluhan—easy, fun, and meaningful to learn!

In my classes, we won’t just memorize mga salita at tuntunin sa gramatika. We’ll learn through kuwentuhan, panitikan, kultura, at pang-araw-araw na usapan so you can use Filipino naturally and confidently.

I’m also fluent in Waray, one of the beautiful languages of the Philippines. I love sharing not only the Filipino language but also the richness and diversity of Filipino culture and regional languages.

Whether you want to learn basic Filipino conversations, improve your grammar, explore Philippine literature, or better understand Filipino culture, sama-sama natin itong matututunan!

My goal is to create a friendly and comfortable space where you can matuto, magsalita, magtanong, at magkamali nang walang hiya—because every mistake is part of learning.
