Hello, I am a native English speaker from London. I studied at Cambridge University (for my undergraduate degree) and at Oxford University (for my master's and PhD degrees). I am very keen on people learning English, a wonderful language and the 'lingua Franca of the modern world.
I have many years of teaching experience (both teaching English and teaching political science at Oxford). I am friendly and determined to help you become fluent.

Although it is not 'easy' to learn a foreign language, I have found that my teaching methods and advice have an extremely high success rate for producing fluent English speakers.
How much time does it take to learn English in Tokyo?
It depends on the commitment of the student. My aim is to encourage the student to fall in love with English - when this happens, students happily spend a lot of time practising the language and become fluent in no time.
