I have experience teaching English children and adults online and am currently teaching English to children at an after-school program.
I am bilingual in English and Mandarin; being self-taught in Mandarin gives me confidence that I have the skills and knowledge to help others improve their language abilities. I have a TEFL (teaching English as a foreign language) teaching certification. I also hold a Bachelor's in Music from McGill University in Montréal.
I believe that anybody can learn a language if they are a dedicated student and use efficient language learning methods. Because of my fluency in Mandarin, I am able to better understand many of the common struggles that native Mandarin speakers face when learning English. Whether you are a pure beginner or an advanced speaker, I'm sure I can help you in your English learning journey.
