Native British English tutor in Singapore (with CELTA)
I am an English-qualified lawyer, currently working as a researcher in Singapore and I do tutoring too. I completed my undergraduate degree in the UK and my Master's degree in Singapore at NTU. I also have a CELTA teaching English qualification, which I attained with International House.
I was born and raised in London but have traveled a lot and am now a Permanent Resident in Singapore. I live here with my family. I am interested in football, music, and current affairs, among other things!
I can teach professional/business English to a high level but am more than happy to teach students with other needs too. I would be learner focused and can adapt my teaching according to needs and preferences.
I can do Monday and Fridays only, between 10:00am and 4.00pm on both days.

The best way of learning English is to experiment by having conversations. I would encourage learners to be confident in expressing themselves and letting their personality shine through. If needed we can start very simply and go from there!
How much time does it take to learn English in Singapore?
It's a journey for everyone, and even native speakers learn new vocabulary as they read more. Improvements can be observed over weeks with practice and the fantastic opportunity of immersion among English speaking people in Singapore or elsewhere.
