Multilingual and Generalist English Tutor

(Only available for once-a-week lessons) I am not your average English Tutor. I am not just here to help you learn English for exams but am here to help you become an effective communicator in English in wide-ranging areas of your life. Why do I say that?

First of all, I am an avid language learner myself, having studied French to a high enough level to pursue and complete engineering studies in French. I read very widely, speak Chinese and French fluently, and have functional use of Swedish and Spanish.

I have studied and explored diverse subjects such as science and engineering (MSc in Materials Science and Engineering), sustainable development (MSc in Environment and Sustainable Development), theatre and art, personal development, health, and wellness.

I am an actor - my job is to communicate effectively. I use language not just functionally, but to hold attention. I am also well-practiced in giving presentations on various subject matters, in an academic and work setting.

This means that I will be able to help you with specific English terminology as well as presentation skills in English in varied settings. Some of my teaching experiences include helping French students in higher education to prepare research presentations in English.
