Having been brought up in a culturally and linguistically diverse setting, I have garnered a lifelong proficiency in engaging with diverse peoples and circumstances that have proved effective in my adaptive tuition style that is personalized for every unique student. I accrued a total score of 750 out of a possible 800 in the English and Writing Section of the SAT Reasoning Test which was in the 99th percentile in the USA. English, literature, and creative/professional writing are my focal points that enjoy the highest success rates among my students. I have been tutoring (supporting or academically motivating) my peers since primary school to their greater comprehension, improvement, enjoyment, and ultimately success. Being at Yale-NUS, I have a more multi-faceted experience as well as better skill sets to equip learners with the necessary linguistic edge. Understanding and unwavering support are crucial to empowering students to realize their full potential. I enjoy linguistics and I can't wait to share the beauty and rewards that come with eloquence of language. For instance, I also speak Swahili, I am at an intermediate level in French and I am a beginner at Mandarin. I look forward to sharing in an empowering intellectual atmosphere that leads to language mastery, lifelong success, and self-confidence.
