Hello there! I'm Elaine, and I come from Singapore. I'm a CELTA-certified teacher with more than 10 years of experience. I have taught General English lessons to teenagers from China, Vietnam, Russia, Laos, etc. I also have experience with younger learners from China and adult learners from Korea and Japan. These students range from beginner to intermediate English levels.
I am currently teaching English as a second language, IGCSE (0500), Cambridge GCE O level, and English for Academic Purposes in a higher institution. In addition, I am also a part-time private tutor teaching English, Mathematics, and Science to Singapore children aged 7 to 12 years old.

What is the easiest way to learn English in Singapore?
I always tell my students to watch videos/shows/movies with subtitles in their home language so that they can increase their vocabulary and practice listening and reading while having entertainment at the same time.
Is it difficult to learn English in Singapore?
Personally, I don't think it is because many people in Singapore speak English. You can practice the language anywhere you go.
