I'm a Canadian with 20 years of experience of teaching English in South Korea, including 17 years at a major university in Seoul. I love teaching (and learning) languages, and I use creative teaching methods (activities, etc.) to make language learning interesting and efficient. I'm fluent in English and French, and I'm a high-intermediate in Korean. Having been a student of Korean since I first arrived in South Korea in 1997, I understand the challenge of learning a new language; in this context, I have experimented with various ways to learn another language, which helps me to adapt to various learning style. There are various opportunities to learn English in Seoul (language institutes, colleges, private teachers). However, the most important is to find the motivation to study and practice regularly. This is something with which I help my students; I teach them English and how to continue studying outside of class.

Learning a language can be difficult anywhere for students who lack motivation or can't find a good teacher. There are lots of good teachers in Seoul; then, the important is to be motivate and to find a good teacher.
