It is easier for those who have already learned a Latin-based language, but for a Korean or Japanese person especially to learn English (and vice versa) it can be difficult. We have fundamentally different sounds at our disposal and almost reversed sentence structure!

It is easier if you can let your subconscious do the work for you. For this, you need to as much real talking experience as possible, and this is what I can give you!

Is it difficult to learn English in Seoul?

There are a lot of great resources for using English, and English loan words intertwined in life in Seoul, which can help. Classrooms provide structure and can force-feed you the necessary grammar and vocabulary... but if all you do is study in a classroom or watch American content online, when you find yourself needing to speak or write in English, you may struggle. You can't just memorise the sentence structure for every sentence you'll ever make. You need to learn to think in English, on the spot. The best way to do this is full immersion, by speaking with English natives, and not be able to fall back on Korean.
