I am a Trinity College London certified TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) tutor with a passion for teaching adults. Over the past eight years, I have had the pleasure of helping students improve their general English proficiency and their IELTS Academic test scores in the Czech Republic, and Hong Kong SAR. In Hong Kong, I was a head teacher at Wall Street English, an international English language learning academy for adults around the world.

Being a Korean third-culture individual, I have lived most of my life abroad in countries such as Chile, Guatemala, Colombia, Costa Rica, the USA, the Czech Republic, and Hong Kong SAR, and I have had the opportunity to immerse myself in a variety of cultures and languages. This has given me a unique perspective that I try to incorporate into my classes. Having faced my own language-learning challenges, I am committed to creating a student-centered, interactive environment that motivates and supports learners. In my classes, I enjoy guiding my students to discover the answers on their own, and I provide a safe space for them to learn proactively. Teaching is my true calling, and I am grateful for the opportunity to help my students achieve their language goals.
