I completed my Ph.D. in the Urban Planning area in the Department of Civil Engineering, University of Minho Portugal in 2019.
My interdisciplinary academic training and research background (Bachelor's degree in Geography and Urban Planning, Master's degree in Urban and Regional Planning, and PhD in Urban Planning) and more than 17 years of significant professional experience as an urban planner prepared me to be an effective researcher in this research area in your department. I published some papers such as the paper entitled "Experts' opinions about sustainability impact intensity of Olympics in Rio de Janeiro" in March 2021 in the Journal of Urban Planning and Development (ASCE). Likewise, I have written some papers on urban issues which are published in Iranian journals. I also submitted a paper on the Olympic-led sustainable urban planning process and proposing a holistic urban model for hosting a sustainable sport mega-event in June 20121 that is under review.
