(Online Lessons Only) I am a licensed teacher with a bachelor’s degree in education and more than 10 years of experience in teaching English Language Learners in accredited schools in the US, China, Thailand, & Portugal. I love helping learners of all ages increase their English speaking, writing, listening, and reading abilities because I know how beneficial fluency can be in the global context!
My sessions aim to meet each student where he/she is and guide them along a targeted path to confidence and fluency! Learning English is not a "one-size-fits-all" model. If you've struggled in the past, it's likely you weren't being taught in a way that resonated with you.
In our first session, I will craft a learning plan for us based on your learning preferences and goals. I plan each lesson based on this information and then provide you with a recap and resources to continue your understanding of the topics covered.

How much time does it take to learn English in Porto?
I would suggest devoting at least an hour per week to learning English. Though it is a complex language, the frequency with which you expose yourself to it will allow you to acquire skills and abilities more quickly.
