British Doctor of Education (TESOL)
I am British (born in West Sussex, England) and hold a BA (Hons) in Language Studies with Linguistics, an MA in Language Acquisition, and a Doctorate of Education in TESOL. I also hold a CELTA. I have extensive experience teaching EFL/ESL, EAP (especially academic writing), and ESP. I have broad experience teaching on university preparatory/foundation programmes, preparing students for IELTS and TOEFL examinations, lecturing in applied linguistics and TESOL, as well as supervising both undergraduate and postgraduate student research and dissertations.
I have also previously acted as a reviewer of academic titles (language policy and related areas) for OUP, and as a freelance ESL/ EFL editor/materials designer for Pearson Education, OUP, and CUP. Thus I am, in addition to both in-person and online teaching, also able to offer proofreading and copy editing services for documents, articles, features, and website content, and of course assistance to students with assignments, research projects, and theses/dissertations, etc.
