Just call me Tommy! I'm originally from the state of West Virginia, USA. I served in the US Military for a few years, then I went back to University and Graduated Cum Laude with a BS in Culinary Arts and a Minor in Business. I worked as a Chef in a 4-star Restaurant at a Golf and Vacation resort in the USA.

I have more than 5 years of teaching English in the classroom and online; attained an online TESOL Qualification from the University of London, England, and was subsequently inducted into the College of Teachers; I have a TEFL Teaching certificate from Marshall University, Huntington, WV and was involved in a program to live and "Teach in China". Additionally I have a "Teacher Training Certificate" from Thailand.

I traveled abroad and taught Adults and children in the classroom in China and Thailand and Teens and Adults in Eastern Europe.
My hobbies include Mountain Biking, Reading and studying, Gardening, Creative Writing, and Teaching.

Forever and a day, but don't be dismayed! Let me explain: This is something you can't put a time limit on; just as one should be learning and developing their mind their whole lifetime, learning English is no different! I'm a native speaker with a broad vocabulary and a high level of reading comprehension but I'm still learning new words and developing my own skills! There may be a perfect teacher for you but there is no perfect teacher, in other words, no teacher knows it all and every person on the planet has something more to learn!
