I was born in Malaysia but lived most of my life abroad in Canada, Europe, and Australia. I studied Philosophy and minored in English and apart from teaching English as a Second Language, I am a freelance writer. Apart from seeing countless students whom I have tutored in Singapore and Thailand excel in English, I do both private and open-class ESL teaching anywhere in Kuala Lumpur. I have two professional teacher training qualifications, the Cambridge CELTA and a TQUK TEFL qualification. I use the communication approach in teaching English as a Second Language giving students sufficient speaking practice in the classroom. You will be able to see how your child improves in his/her ability to communicate effectively within months.
