Private English Tutor in Johannesburg and Online

Greetings,

I'm Julia Modiba, an experienced English teacher (native speaker) currently one remote course away from finishing my bachelor's in teaching English at UNISA. While my studies focus on teaching at the adolescent level, I have the training and skills to adapt to any age group. I have experience working with both children and adults.

I have mostly taught in an online format for individuals and groups via Zoom. Most of the students have been from East Asia and the Middle East. I enjoy and thrive in intercultural contexts requiring respect and understanding of new perspectives.

I am a caring, responsible, and hardworking teacher eager to hone my professionalism in facilitating learning. it's a process for which I have a passion that I love to share with, and instill in, my students. Although I have a few months before I complete the one remote, flexibly timed course in my teaching degree, I am eager to start putting my skills into practice. As such, I am available immediately.

Looking forward to hearing from you and seeing how I can contribute.
