I am a fully qualified CELTA teacher who holds an MBA from Durham University in the United Kingdom. I have a clear and easy-to-understand Oxford/Cambridge British accent. I have extensive experience successfully teaching English across a broad range of levels from Primary students to the Boardroom with students coming from leading Hong Kong schools (local and international) and companies.

I have lived in Hong Kong for 22 years and hold a permanent HK ID allowing me to legally work for any employer. I am the father of two young children who have been educated in international schools here in Hong Kong and are currently studying in boarding schools in the UK.

Clients have included individuals or small groups of directors, managers, sales staff, lawyers, doctors, nurses, professional stage performers and local teachers.

I fully understand the pressures that children, young adults, and business professionals face in Hong Kong to attain and maintain a certain level of English whether it be to progress in their studies or to advance in their careers. My classes are fun, creative, and interactive. I would describe myself as friendly, reliable, patient, committed, understanding and non-judgemental. I have a comprehensive library of professional teaching materials built up over the years (Longman, Oxford, Cambridge etc) and have also compiled many of my own materials for specific purposes. I have a successful track record in improving English standards and I am completely dedicated to helping my students succeed.
