Private English Tutor in Hong Kong and Online

*ONLINE ONLY*. Hello, my name is Frank and I am a mature private native English tutor from the United Kingdom. I am a fully qualified CELTA teacher who holds an MBA from Durham University in the United Kingdom. I have a clear and easy-to-understand Oxford/Cambridge British accent. I have extensive experience successfully teaching English across a broad range of levels from Primary students to the Boardroom with students coming from leading Hong Kong schools (local and international) and companies.

I have lived in Hong Kong for 22 years and hold a permanent HK ID allowing me to legally work for any employer. I am the father of two young children who have been educated in international schools here in Hong Kong and are currently studying in boarding schools in the UK.

I have taught students from many leading schools in Hong Kong including (but not limited to) Hong Kong International School, Kiangsu And Chekiang Primary School, Kellett School, Singapore International School, Canadian International School, La Salle, Renaissance College, West Island School, Diocesan Boys School, Diocesan Girls School, Harrow International School, American International School, Po Leung Kuk Choi Kai Yau, French International School, Mount Kelly School, International College Hong Kong, The International Montessori School, Anfield School, Creative Primary School, Shatin College, Shrewsbury International School and St Mary's Canossian College.

I am experienced working with a diverse portfolio of local and expatriate organisations in Hong Kong from industries such as law, finance, banking, logistics, new media, manufacturing, health care, entertainment, hospitality, education and insurance. Clients have included individuals or small groups of directors, managers, sales staff, lawyers, doctors, nurses, professional stage performers and local teachers.

I fully understand the pressures that children, young adults, and business professionals face in Hong Kong to attain and maintain a certain level of English whether it be to progress in their studies or to advance in their careers. My classes are fun, creative, and interactive. I would describe myself as friendly, reliable, patient, committed, understanding and non-judgemental. I have a comprehensive library of professional teaching materials built up over the years (Longman, Oxford, Cambridge etc) and have also compiled many of my own materials for specific purposes. I have a successful track record in improving English standards and I am completely dedicated to helping my students succeed.

I am available for English Conversation, Phonics (for children and for adults), Writing, Pronunciation, School Interview Preparation, and Exam Preparation (including IELTS, TOEFL, GRE, International Baccalaureate, GESE, KET, PET, FCE, IGCSE, HKDSE, etc), UK Boarding School Entrance (11+ exam preparation, 13+ exam preparation, CAT4 testing, etc), University Entrance (Writing Personal Statements, etc), Proofreading, Business English (including English for Trade Shows, Client Visits, E-mailing, Social Media, Resumes, Presentations, Interviews, Appraisals, Writing Reports, etc), English Literature and General English. I encourage feedback at all stages of the teaching process as I believe this is an essential part of the learning process. Content is therefore designed around specific individual needs and requirements on an ongoing basis.

I look forward to hearing from you and hopefully meeting you online soon!

Best wishes,

Frank
