How easy is it to learn English in Hong Kong?

Many Cantonese students/speakers are still having too little exposure to the language outside of school. Therefore, their grasp of basics such as grammar and vocabulary, never mind higher-level of language use, is still below average. Most teachers tend to focus too much on improving their students’ marks, with little thought for actual language skills. For example, they may tell students to memorise a selection of phrases, which unfortunately does not effectively contribute to improve their level of comprehension and expression.

Is English easy to learn?

I believe that English has become the easiest language to learn of all the languages, thanks to the advancement in technology, which has improved communication and resulted in a vast selection of English resources now available to anyone, including TV shows, movies, music, podcasts, books and websites.
