Hello! I am a native English speaker from South Africa and I have achieved a 120 hour TESOL certificate.
I have been living in Copenhagen for 13 years and I love living here! I also love helping people, from giving directions and advice to speaking English. I am currently volunteering as an English teacher to adults, and it gives me great satisfaction knowing that I am able to help my students master the language I was born with.
I also have experience teaching English to children, so if your child is needing a boost in his/her English grades, I would love the opportunity to try and help them.
I am a very happy, kind and patient teacher, and people say that they like my neutral, clear accent. I really like to include my students' interests when preparing a lesson for them. As a teacher, I like to focus on pronunciation and correct major grammar mistakes.

Most of the people here are also friendly and approachable, so if you put yourself out there, you might just find someone you connect with and practice speaking English with. But you could also just order your coffee and pastry, or ask for directions to go somewhere in English, and you will be understood. Just look for opportunities to practice and you will succeed.

No, I don't think so. There are a lot of international people living here and visiting Copenhagen as a tourist, so English can be seen and heard everywhere - menus, signs, train announcements.
