There is no better way to learn a language than constantly speaking and writing to a native speaker. I speak English and Cantonese at a bilingual proficiency level, plus Danish at B2 level. As a language enthusiast, I have been learning two new languages (Danish and Spanish) in the past couple of years, and I find it intriguing to be able to communicate with worldwide citizens. I believe in active and creative learning, which means it does not have to be restricted to seemingly boring classroom materials. Instead of reading a story and picking up new words, watching a video can also be a way of expanding your glossary - and will probably stay longer in your head too! I have been a private tutor for over 4 years, teaching English and sometimes Chinese to elementary school kids and high school students. I also have some experience delivering language classes at youth centers and education institutions. It is an amazing feeling to be able to teach a language I know very well, and to take away the dull parts of language learning for English learners:)
