I'm a 33 year old woman from The Hague in the Netherlands. Recently I moved to Barcelona to be with my fiancé. While I'm learning Catalan and Spanish to be able to live a comfortable life here, I'm also teaching my fiancé Dutch so he'll be able to understand me, my friends, my family and our future kids. While teaching him Dutch I realized I enjoy teaching my language and have respect for people who are trying to learn this difficult language. Besides Dutch I speak fluent English, French and German.

Dutch is not an easy language to learn. It's a language that's very different from Romance languages and the English language. The way we form sentences is different, our grammar is different and there's quite some sounds that are difficult to pronounce.
