Hi, I'm Francesca, I'm an international student at Roskilde University and I live in Copenhagen.
I come from Croatia, from the beautiful Mediterranean city Split. Even though I don't have much experience teaching, I know that the best way to learn a language is through a native speaker. Since I deeply miss my home country, I offer dedicated teaching in my mother language, as I am looking for opportunities to speak it as much as possible. I offer a teaching experience that can be adapted to your needs, whatever they might be, we can make it fun and creative, or do it by the books, that is all up to you. Back in my home county I wanted to study Croatian and Croatian literature, but since I got accepted at RUC, I am now studying Cultural Encounters and Psychology, but I still have that spark for the Croatian language.
Of course any language would be easier to learn it in the country itself, but the second best thing is to have a close native speaker.
While the difficulty of learning Croatian is entirely dependent on the one who wants to learn it, I can promise that it is a language worth learning. Croatian is one of the Slavic languages, so learning it opens the door for easily learning other Slavic languages. Serbian, Bosnian and Slovenian are all languages that you will be able to understand and communicate in, to some degree depending on which one, even Russian is a language that shares a good amount of words with Croatian.
