Private Chinese / Mandarin Tutor in Chicago and Online
I’m a retired professor with a PhD in foreign language education from UT-Austin. I've had experience teaching Mandarin to adult learners for 7+ years. My lessons are mainly task-based curriculum. I'm interesting in teaching students of various backgrounds, especially those with zero background. My goal is to help students to become an active learner, practicing speaking Mandarin, asking questions and learning tips in class, and getting familiar with online sources to become an autonomous learner.
