Explore Cantonese with an Experienced teacher

I’m an experienced language teacher with a strong background in teaching younger children through to pre-university students. I was professionally trained in Hong Kong, where I earned my postgraduate certificate in English teaching and spent eight years teaching in primary and secondary schools. My teaching journey began early, as I started tutoring privately while still in secondary school, which gave me the chance to develop my teaching style and connect with students on a personal level.

I am also a qualified teacher in both New Zealand and Australia, which has allowed me to broaden my teaching experience internationally. In New Zealand, I had the rewarding experience of volunteering as a Cantonese teacher at the non-profit organization Hing Hing Sone Sone Sone Cantonese, where I taught overseas children. Using interactive methods, I helped them develop traditional writing, listening, and reading skills, creating a fun and engaging learning environment that supported their language development. I’m passionate about language education, and I bring adaptability and dedication to each lesson I teach.
