Hello and Marhaba. I am Karem; a Philosophy and Economics graduate. I grew up in the West Bank, and my mother tongue is Arabic. I also learned English from a young age and spent a year of cultural exchange in America with a host family, where I studied at an American school. I am interested in Arabic poetry, and I am good at reciting it, I am also interested in Arabic literature. My past experiences qualify me to give lessons in the colloquial language of the country, and the official language (known as Fusha) in both its literary and poetic parts.
Arabic may sound hard, but with my course, it will become easy and fun. My course is designed to fit the personality of each student. However, I guarantee that all my students learn the basics in a short time, in fun ways such as singing and acting. From there, the student gets to choose the material with me actively.
The easiest way to learn Arabic is through music. From there, one can start acting scenes from their favorite Arabic movies; this allows them to memorize key language templates and make it easier for them to start communicating as such. With time, the student will start engaging more in the language and begin their journey if they wish to learn reading and writing. The last phase can be challenging, but the course is designed in a fun and engaging way by exposing the student to readings and writing assignments that fit their personality.
Learning a new language can be difficult indeed, but with my instructions, it will turn out to be an amazing experience. Time varies from person to person, but with the right mindset and spirit, the basics will be relatively quick to learn and the experience will be both challenging and fun.
